In (my) dreams
A nearly dead hero
Vigilante  on display
Before a beautiful queen
Invisible in her reality
Wishes in chains

Often intoxicated
Finding relief from pain
Untrusted is forgiveness
Tonight, an eclipse until dawn
Waking in another stranger's arms
A solar flair mourning walk away
Alone towards  a clean break
Banish him far behind

Destroy the mirrors
Of ill begotten memories
Another night gyrating
Above a stranger
Instead of...
A loving hero

Dead in dreams
A hero's corpse display
Platform viewing portal
Queen holds the key
Detested by death
Backs slowly away
Wishes in chains
Yet another day

Die before the queen
Chained to uncontested wishes
Lost in dream(s) translation
Too big an invisible hero
To be banished away
