Humility is linked to shame
A prison of man's vileness
A concept which comfort killed
So a false version of happiness
Could devour and take it's place
On the hierarchy of emotion

Shame is a prison of rusty bars
We look out to see old friends cheering
As if the self inflicted depression
Was a dungeon of eternal darkness

See yourself through the immortals eyes
Then be free of peer pressure
Of living up to an expectation
Ever unattainable as a dream
