Poetry & Podcast November 10th

Some of these poems are old,
Odes to another soul's  days,
Some remain in their first draft,
Raw and unedited for power's sake
Soon to be replaced with a second edition
Some are of the darkness while others are hopeful
Content in counter culture to current events
Use tale herein told
From an empathetic imagination
To heal, find hope, or inspiration
Or words for a wound long hidden
May the light of equality radiate
Ending prejudice and bullying

Derelict Idenity (Street Walk'n)

Admitted to a requiem,Deathymn diction infused with rhythm sped forth via satellite,Every day was the same,Fade out into peace in the decay.

It's unusual to see me,Follow me home in shadow,Lose your way as you watch me fade to grey,Look back to admire those who exist in time...

Transpose the search for something worth holding before a mirror,Wait for a fire to start in the hive,A cordial adventure rate to renew life

In the shadows,The memory will rise,As the sun dawns a venom seeps in between cells without rules,No cure for the custom second black dark!

Identity up in flame,Connected to life by a lingering shadow,All of it was in my head,A conscious chemical life,Tube power cell for machines

Amnesia a conscious battlefield without an uncontested winner,Is memory the hero or awareness the fuzzy grey twilight before your eyes...!?

In earnest anticipation of,
