Rising Depression

Fighting off the jesters inside my head
Formed from violent dancing light on distant shores
A massacre of self depression embraced
Adore the empty oblivion of the way you feel

Don't speak too many words
I'll regret hearing and you'll justify away
I know the meaning behind your hollow phrases
You remain just to bolster your own inner unacknowledged famine

Too many one word sentences created isolation
Crafted the deep wounds bound to become scars
I stand now on the edge of hatred and knowledge
Is it truth, can redemption be found
Either way, tell me why am I not afraid

Don't speak too many words
I'll regret hearing and you'll justify away
I know the meaning behind your hollow phrases
You remain just to bolster your own inner unacknowledged famine

Your self proclaimed fame was true love
Eclipsed by a deformed vision of who I was
Like a childhood veterinarian astronaut dream
But at long last wisdom outshone my depression
Fair well to the knife at my own throat dance
Fuck your simple words of self deception
