Karma Shepherd: A Film to Forget

A lucid dreaming mother wished and watched
As the tele broadcast confirmed all she denied
I recorded while the world saw too much
Nothing like they'd ever seen or felt before
I held onto his legs as they took his life

The family watched the screen begging
The camera to stop unlocking the truth
That was hidden behind hoping doors
Oh fathers and mothers I'm sorry
Our road is broadcast in blood
And it is upon my hands

I filmed while I held him down
The victim soldier begging not for life
But the newly appointed surgeon for morphine
As the saw blade took off his mangled hands

It's nothing like you've ever seen or felt before
Broadcasting poetic verse of loss of life
Like a novel written on a current war
A pathetic Psalm dialogue the horror
Of the Karma Shepherd's denial
To step in and save anything
Where is he or God
In all of this mess

This is my novel of war
My pathetic attempt at a Psalm
A dialogue between us and war
To the Karma Shepherd and god's
Who seem not to care anymore

I filmed while they held her down
The victim soldier begging not for her life
But for the knife at her throat to end her torture
As the opposing warriors took turns raping her

It's nothing like you've ever seen or felt before
Broadcasting poetic verse of loss of life
Like a novel written on a current war
A pathetic Psalm dialogue the horror
Of the Karma Shepherd's denial
To step in and save anything
Where is he or God
In all of this mess

I filmed while the tank rolled by
The children who lay dying about the streets
Flies lingering where burns had mutilated the flesh
Blinded by fire from the tree of life's falling leaves

Fathers and mothers know this
Your sons and daughters are dying
Ants like parasites pouring into an endless battlefield
Until their blood vaccinates the whole earth
No war could ever compare to this
I, Lucifer documented all of it
Where was Karma or God
During all this bloodshed
