Piles of Tragedy

This is how we die
We live our daily lives
Hording tragic piles of wealth
Described as security and yet we die

Working day and night
Over achiever defined in an unfit fight
Promotions ignited the hollow yearnings inside
Deposit thy weekly tithe yet hell awaits the end of your life

Dear God, this is how we die
Building piles of wealth we live our lives
Hording tragic piles of wealth
Attach it to self worth or security
Yet it saves us not as yet we die

Oh breath intensified
Living to leave all wealth behind
Last breath is a bit too late
Ecstatic Satan and Lucifer wait
Till the realization moment as you die
That in all the world only equality can save your life

Dear God, this is how we die
Building piles of wealth we live our lives
Hording tragic piles of wealth
Attach it to self worth or security
Yet it saves us not as yet we die

It makes no sense to me
The way you live your lives
Why live for wealth as 3rd world children die starving
Why not seek an alternative path in life
Soon you'll die and all security will be left behind
