A Dream for Our Children

Piano Version 1.0

May all our children live in gluttony
Be wasteful with all creation
Walking proud in our desensitized modesty
May our white become tanned skinned baked putrid beauty

Man kind isn't going to make it
Unfavorable faith in a luck based theory
Unmatterable in words like love or morality
Unstably in correcting every mutated cell
(Save the prison our hearts are locked in)
So lets go out like a big bang
Lacking in the end, as the beginning
Everything with the addition of the word beauty

May our children inherit our selfish priorities
Their talents hidden behind their Ritalin dosage
Prescribed for an uncertain diagnosis for A.D.D
May our children inherit our tragic pride

In a pageant we watch our children's beauty
Paraded for all those at home on big screen TVs
One child's dream is the stages future nightmare
Your one in a million contract driven reality
Don't protect a little queen bait her around
Like a hooked worm we fish
For more ways to make money

May all our children live on in our gluttony
Be wasteful with whats left of creation
Walking proud in our desensitized money molesting modesty
May our white become tanned skinned baked putrid beauty
Conform our sad children in a robotic puberty transition
To a future where they will never again smile

Metal Version 2.0

May all our children live in gluttony
Be wasteful with all creation
Walking proud in our desensitized modesty
May our white become tanned skinned baked putrid beauty

May our children grow up to finish work on the theory
As if proving the theory will terminate the debate
There will always be those who believe intelligence is how we began
That indeed we are imbued with morality living in a creation

May all our children live on in our gluttony
Be wasteful with whats left of creation
Walking proud in our desensitized money molesting modesty
May our white become tanned skinned baked putrid beauty
Conform our sad children in a robotic puberty transition
To a future where they will never again smile

hey Juton, the perspective of this poem is excellent. It has the feel of an old prayer which casts a light on the content, revealing the sad state of humanity.

i got a damned google account so I could post on your site. I hate technology
