A catastrophe of uncaring
A glimpse into a war we've been waging
Against children's fates from families we tore apart
A life for a moment's fraction of peace for another day

We won't walk hand in hand
As the world on our terms collapses
But we'll steal an eye for an eye
Until the whole world is blind

As another leader swears vengeance
I'll be standing silently Braille book in hand
Praying all the warrior's can still choose
For their lives and our promise to stay home
Behind their locked doors their not hiding
Their making an effort of caring you can't comprehend
