Tears of Trinity

Free will enable
Brings tears to the cheeks
Red right hand withheld
A king's subjects die
Glimpsed from the clouds

In heaven she cries
Trinity upon the throne
Where the skies are blue
From tears ever renewed

We cried to a God to depend on
Faith will carry us through dark days
But religion doesn't save the starving
We withhold our aid for security for today
But unlike Trinity we don't mourn the loss

In heaven she cries alone
Trinity upon a wooden throne
Where the golden brick rode was sold
To pay for the salvation of the secure seekers
Withhold our saving hands to hold them high
In a house called church of emotion and security
Where the skies are no longer blue

Freedom of will enacted
Your soul denied them
Our tears on Her face
As the dust settles
All the children remain
God's hand protects
Though is free like you and me

In heaven she cries
Trinity upon the wooden throne
Where the skies are silver blue
From tears ever renewed
