Preys The Sun

I am the sun
Dark now are my days
Militaries march upon dusk
While planes craft cities into ashes
All the while children pitter patter
Bare foot upon concrete
Until next we meet
I am all that watches each day
Rinsing hands only to repeat

Oh my vacant lidless eyes
I see our daily tragedy
Rejoice at the moon
She take my place in the sky
Don't worry I only hide
For a broken hearted while
A moment time dark is the day

All violent be my disease
Gone each eve at twilight
Be ghosts of death in darkness
Flashlights and flares they torment
The moon She cries as I hide
Residing on another world is seems
The rich wage war in corporations
Instead of fire and ash crafting machines
Behold the gray twilight
Not all is at it seems

Oh my vacant lidless eyes
I see our daily tragedy
Rejoice at the moon
She take my place in the sky
Don't worry I only hide
I'll be back again
At the breaking of dark into day

Behold the gray twilight
Not all is at it seems
Behold the corporate dream
The monetary ownership of all
Over ever class of citizen
Behold the breaking dawn
Not even the dawn
Shall hide your screams
