Slavery Storm

It killed many of us
But still we lingered on in hope
That society shall not pass away
That it shall not be cleansed
In a river of slavery's blood

Here we are
Waiting for the storm to pass
We won't reclaim the wreckage
Pray the hurricane will pass us over
If only we knew the distance of it's rage

It killed many of us
But still we lingered on in hope
That society shall not pass away
That it shall not be cleansed
In a river of slavery's blood

Even the righteous are naive
They make the exact same slave purchase
As the unbeliever beyond their churches
Yet the feign a moral difference
Ignorance won't save your soul

God cares not of half blind motives
Ignorance is a far off cry from us
We can reclaim what once we sought
Before it's destroyed by rivers of waste

The onset came on a glorious day
Slaves the world over died for freedom
United under a 3rd world defy'rs rage
To break the might monetary universe
Into shambles of shame and enlightened dust

So here we are
Choose your path
Tread lightly before you die
For it is very dark in society
For me I call it, hell
