On the steps
You’ll find my life
Overcome by grief
In weakness I fell
Every day alone
I tried to fade
Slowly

Threw myself far away
Deep into the void, the nether
Every night I watch the world
Pass by my equality dreams
A protest I lived for denied
Like a raging bull
Charging red

A tragic fate
You’ll find me there
Overcome by another’s fate
Comparison compromised my memory
I am the fault of another not myself
Undignified I stand in life
Approaching awareness
Too late for me
A bitter end

Fell amidst an established blackout
Rendered a foolish perpetrator
