Poetry & Podcasts September 18th

Some of these poems are old,
Odes to another soul's  days,
Some remain in their first draft,
Raw and unedited for power's sake
Soon to be replaced with a second edition
Some are of the darkness while others are hopeful
Content in counter culture to current events
Use tale herein told
From an empathetic imagination
To heal, find hope, or inspiration
Or words for a wound long hidden
May the light of equality radiate
Ending prejudice and bullying

A life, without a smile...

Absent of the majestic world renowned singularity response, A ripple effect dancing on your lips onto the sea of humanity, An endless ocean of faces who recognize and respond in like kind, Smiling does change lives!

Sterilized clotted facial expression,One contorted angry mould eternal algorithm'd by the skin,Stale life lost,Requiem for a smile,Tremors never dance!

Blight in our Haven,

Not so long ago,We accepted the undertow,Virtue lay dying as we signed the eulogy,We never wanted values to begin with,Desired to fly by the seat of our desires without approval,From the self deep inside or any external one... Thus died compassion...

Bright was the solar flair,Radiant bullet targeting our future's blue skies,Shot the day our discretion passed away,Phased out as we began to stand by watching the starving die,Sell children to work in mine fields,Sexual amputation of virginity in slavery,A blind eye we turn,To pacify our comfort and consume endlessly without conscience.

Tear Ridden Angels

In earnest anticipation of,
